Constance "Connie" L. LaPlante, 61, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at home on September 15th. She was the significant other of Jack McDermott. Born in Attleboro, MA she was a daughter of Carol Ann LaPlante and the late Wilfred F. LaPlante Sr.
Connie had a passion for knitting and crocheting, donating hundreds of blankets to children’s hospitals, seniors centers and homeless shelters.
She is survived by a son, Daniel LaPlante; sisters, Anna Marie Argo, Barbara Ann Wood, Dawn Frances Senra, Michelle Jeannette Kendig, Robin Lisa Stella, Danielle Christine Carbone; brothers, Paul Henry LaPlante, Scott Edward LaPlante; aunt, Charlette Fincher. She was the sister of the late Wilfred F. LaPlante Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday, September 19th from 4:00 – 6:30pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 6:30pm. Burial is private. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
